On Tuesday, October 31st ... Michael den Otter and Tom Beckley will present "SIMFOR--Mapping Indicators of Community Sustainability." This presentation will demonstrate the use of a new on-line tool that monitors social indicators of community sustainability in each Model Forest. Users can create maps and charts that compare communities' forest dependence as well as indicators such as employment, income, poverty, migration, real estate and education.

Le mardi 31 octobre [...] Michael den Otter et Tom Beckley présenteront un exposé intitulé «SIMFOR--Mapping Indicators of Community Sustainability» (le SIMFOR : indicateurs de la durabilité des collectivités) qui explique l'utilisation d'un nouvel outil en ligne pour connaître les indicateurs sociaux de la durabilité des collectivités de chacune des forêts modèles. L'outil permet de créer des cartes et des tableaux qui comparent la dépendance d'une collectivité à l'égard de la forêt et qui fournissent des données relatives à l'emploi, au revenu, à la pauvreté, à la migration, à la valeur immobilière et à l'éducation.
