Ratio de liquidité calculé en divisant les «actifs défensifs» (les valeurs disponibles et réalisables) par les dépenses d'exploitation journalières (coût des ventes augmenté des frais de vente et d'administration et autres charges d'exploitation, à l'exclusion toutefois des charges non monétaires, divisé par 365). Ce ratio mesure le temps pendant lequel l'entreprise peut poursuivre son exploitation sur la base de son actif disponible et réalisable sans recourir aux rentrées nettes qui proviendront de l'exploitation.
