CONT

Ces revêtements se caractérisent par leur très grande dureté (entre 3 500 et 5 000 Wickers), leur faible coefficient de frottement et leur conductibilité thermique élevée. Ils sont utilisés en mécanique : protection des moules d'injection de plastique contre l'usure, revêtement d'outils de coupe, etc.; en électronique : support de circuit; en optique : fenêtres pour rayons X et infrarouges.
