Diamond polishers polish rough, sawn, cleaved or bruted diamonds. A diamond polisher creates a round brilliant shape by polishing the required facets on a diamond according to the specifications and sequence specified by company policy.

OBS

Il serait préférable d'employer le terme «facetteur» plutôt que «polisseur». En effet, la définition du premier terme indique qu'il y a deux étapes au facettage, la pose et le polissage, alors que «polisseur» pourrait laisser supposer qu'il n'est question de la dernière étape, soit le polissage.
