Founded in 1957, The In Community (formerly Disabled Persons Community Resources) is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring the independence, inclusion and integration of people with physical disabilities in the Ottawa area. The In Community provides programs and services that maximize opportunities for people with physical disabilities to be fully integrated in the community, achieve their full potential and realize their true capacity for independence. Our mission is : To identify, develop and deliver programs and services that maximize opportunities for the contribution, participation and inclusion of people with physical disabilities within the City of Ottawa.
