In general a brilliant is cut by several workers: first of all the cross cutter or cross worker who polished the table, the four main facets or the top (crown) and the four facets or the bottom (base), in other words, the basic form. This is then sometimes take over by an eight-cut polisher and finally by the brillianteerer.
