Elective service is any period of employment, either in the Public Service or with some other employer that occurred before the employee became a contributor to the Public Service Pension Plan. The plan member may choose to count these periods of prior service as pensionable service. 3, record 1, English, - elective%20service
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
elective pensionable service: "Elective" means that the period may be purchased, i.e. credited to the employee's record, whereas "pensionable" means that it has already been credited. Therefore, it is better to simply use the term "elective service." 4, record 1, English, - elective%20service

4, record 1, French, - service%20accompagn%C3%A9%20d%27option
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
