UNDP [United Nations Development Programme] programme to foster sustainable development; seeks to meet the needs of poor farmers in marginal lands in eight Asian countries using participatory approaches in the application of pest management, safer pesticides, watershed management, farming systems, biotechnology and agroforestry.

The Farmer-centered Agricultural Resource Management (FARM) Programme is an initiative of eight Asian countries. They are: China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. The programme is supported by UNDP [United Nations Development Programme] and implemented by FAO [Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations].
