Une (...) méthode [de filage des filaments] relativement récente consiste à partir d'un film obtenu par extrusion-soufflage de gaines ou par "Chill-Roll". Ce film est découpé longitudinalement en fines lamelles, qui sont ensuite étirées pour donner des monofilaments, ou fibrillées, pour donner des fibres discontinues.
