Explosion vapeur. Lorsque deux fluides dont la température de l’un est supérieure à la température d’ébullition de l’autre entrent en contact, une interaction explosive est susceptible de se produire. Ce phénomène résulte de l’interaction instable de deux mécanismes : – le transfert d’énergie du fluide chaud vers le fluide froid via une fragmentation fine; – la pressurisation et la mise en mouvement relatif des deux fluides provoquant la fragmentation fine.
