It is worth noting that the ß-D-glucan content was 2.6% in the 1st abrasion fraction compare to 0.5% in the starting wheat. Further investigations were carried out primarily on this fraction as shown in Fig. 1 and 2. Fig. 1 describes the extraction and purification procedure of non-starch polysaccharides from the pre-processed bran (1st abrasion fraction) while Fig. 2 gives the procedures to prepare purified ß-D-glucan. Nous avons essentiellement approfondi l'étude de cette fraction, comme on peut le voir aux figures 1 et 2; la figure 1 représente l'extraction et la purification des polysaccharides non amylacés du son de blé prétraité (première fraction d'abrasion) et la figure 2, la purification de la ß-D-glucane.
