CONT

La pyrolyse consiste, après avoir séché la boue, à faire croître sa température en atmosphère réductrice. Les matières volatiles sont alors distillées sous forme d'un gaz très combustible. On peut aussi généralement avec l'aide d'un apport de chaleur qui facilite la réaction, gazéifier le «carbone fixe» qui, normalement, n'est pas volatil.
