Ce rotor est de conception récente (début de l'année 1959); il ne diffère du rotor multipale que par le montage du moyeu, lequel est fixé rigidement sur le mât. Une mince barre de torsion travaillant dans le sens de l'envergure relie chaque fusée au moyeu. Les principaux avantages de cette formule consistent en une très bonne contrôlabilité, ainsi qu'en une plage de centrage approximativement double de celle de l'hélicoptère standard.
