Fondée en 1973 par un groupe de bénévoles sensibilisés aux problèmes conséquents à l'usage abusif de l'alcool, des drogues et des médicaments, la Fédération des organismes communautaires et bénévoles d'aide et de soutien aux toxicomanes du Québec (FOBAST) est un organisme à but non lucratif qui œuvre à l'échelle provinciale. Fort d'une longue expérience, FOBAST regroupe, oriente et coordonne l'action des organismes bénévoles et communautaires qui partagent sa philosophie relativement à la prévention des toxicomanies et à l'aide qu'elle veut apporter au toxicomane désireux de se réadapter.
