Terme proposé par l'auteur pour remplacer l'expression "désuétude fonctionnelle curable" employée pour désigner la désuétude qui "touche des éléments de la construction dont le coût de remplacement ou de réparation est égal ou inférieur à la valeur qui en résulterait." Il faut éviter de dire qu'une désuétude fonctionnelle est "curable" puisqu'en français cet adjectif appartient au domaine de la médecine. C'est sous l'influence de l'anglais qu'on l'emploie pour qualifier la désuétude fonctionnelle.
