OBS

One of the primary objectives of ICAO is to promote the safety of civil aviation worldwide. With 188 Contracting States, and its active involvement in global aviation safety issues, ICAO is well-positioned to assume a coordinating role with respect to the many safety initiatives under way worldwide all with the common aim of reducing the number and rate of aviation accidents. Recognizing this, in 1997 the Air Navigation Commission proposed an ICAO Global Aviation Safety Plan (GASP) to the ICAO Council.

L'un des principaux objectifs de l'OACI est de promouvoir la sécurité de la navigation aérienne internationale. Compte tenu des 188 États contractants et de sa participation active aux dél... sur la sécurité de l'aviation dans le monde, l'OACI est bien placée pour jouer un rôle de coordination des diverses initiatives qui ont été prises dans le monde et qui visent toutes à réduire le nombre et le taux d'accidents d'aviation. Reconnaissant cette nécessité, la Commission de navigation aérienne a proposé en 1997 un Plan OACI pour la sécurité de l'aviation dans le monde (GASP) au Conseil de l'OACI.
