OBS

A new unit called Government Review was established to continue the Evaluation, Audit and Performance measurement functions of the former Office of the Comptroller General and to promote innovation and quality management. The new unit will be more directly involved in reviews of government-wide issues; will establish a stronger partnership arrangement with departments to support needed development of the review functions; and work more directly with line managers on quality management and performance improvement activities.

Une nouvelle section «Revue gouvernementale» a été créée afin de poursuivre les anciennes responsabilités du BCG (Bureau du Contrôleur général) et promouvoir l'innovation et la gestion de la qualité. La nouvelle section participera plus étroitement à la revue de questions touchant l'ensemble de l'administration fédérale; elle renforcera le partenariat avec les ministères afin d'appuyer l'élaboration des fonctions de revue; enfin, cette section travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les gestionnaires des différents ministères sur la gestion de la qualité et l'amélioration du rendement.
