"Grand Pré" is the actual spelling of the name of a dispersed rural community, thus an inhabited place; spelled as was the historically inhabited place, "Grand-Pré", it is the specific in "Grand-Pré National Historic Site (N.S.)", a national historic site managed by Parks Canada. The residents of the actual "Grand Pré" would like to have the spelling "Grand-Pré" reestablished.
