At Montfort Hospital it has been interpreted as follows: G = gravida, or pregnancy number (1st, 2nd, 3rd pregnancy, etc.); T = pregnancies culminated at term; P = premature births (some hospitals interpret P as parity or para); A = abortions; L = live births.
