The two major components of the CANTASS [Canadian Towed Array Sonar System] system are the wet-end and the dry-end. The dry-end is comprised of an acoustic processor, data distribution unit, and display system. The wet-end consists of a towed array sensor, handling and stowage group, high-density digital recorder, and array receiver.
