D'après la notion de marais émergent : est-ce le lac? Est-ce le rivage? Parfois l'un, parfois l'autre, cela dépend du moment de l'année. Mais durant la plus grande partie de la saison de végétation, c'est encore le lac : les plantes se gardent les pieds dans l'eau mais ... se dressent la tête bien au-dessus, pour voir plus loin.

... le marais comprend la végétation aquatique submergée, la végétation à feuilles flottantes et la végétation émergente (celle qui sort de l'eau).
