The different sources of this noise could be due to periodic drift or malfunction of the detector, or due to electronic interference among sensor components, or due to problem in the transmission and recording process. The noise, if present in any part of the image can either degrade or totally mask the true radiometric information contained by the digital image. Hence, noise removal is very essential before any preprocessing or analysis of the image could be done. 2, record 1, English, - image%20noise

2, record 1, French, - bruit%20image

S-VHS has a resolution of 400 picture lines, compared to 240 picture lines in VHS, and 300 in the conventional TV signal. Moreover, a sub-emphasis-circuit suppresses image noise, particularly for weak video signals and also contributes to better image quality. 2, record 3, English, - image%20noise

1, record 3, French, - bruit%20image
