The Main Heat Transport System. Figure 14.1 shows a typical heat transport system layout. The main circulation pumps take cooled D2O from the boilers and pump it to a reactor inlet header. The header distributes the coolant through feeder pipes to the individual fuel channels.

Circuit caloporteur principal. La figure 14.1 illustre un circuit caloporteur de type courant. Les principales pompes de circulation tirent le D2O refroidi des générateurs de vapeur et le pompent dans un collecteur d'entrée du réacteur. Le collecteur répartit le caloporteur dans les conduites d'alimentation vers les canaux de combustible individuels.
