The Inter-American Convention Against Terrorism was adopted at the Organization of American States (OAS) General Assembly in Barbados in June 2002. The Convention calls for OAS member states to adopt their own measures to combat terrorism, and for stronger cooperation in the hemisphere in areas such as law enforcement, legal assistance and border management.

La Convention interaméricaine contre le terrorisme a été adoptée lors de l'Assemblée générale de l'Organization des États américains (OEA), à la Barbade, en juin 2002. Elle appelle les États membres de l'OEA à adopter leurs propres mesures pour combattre le terrorisme, et à renforcer la coopération au sein de l'hémisphère dans des domaines comme l'application de la loi, l'aide juridique et la gestion des frontières.
