This program is designed to increase the awareness of Canada's international trade in agricultural products and is sponsored by Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada. 4-H members between the ages of 18-23 (who have been active members within the past five years and for a duration of at least two years) are required to write an essay on some aspect of the theme "From Canada's Gates to Foreign Plates". One winner from each province will be selected to attend a major food marketing industry show. One of these delegates will then be selected to visit a large international food and beverage exposition.

Ce programme, financé par Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada, est destiné à faire mieux connaître les échanges agricoles du Canada avec l'étranger. Pour y prendre part, il faut être âgé de 18 à 23 ans et avoir été un membre actif des 4-H durant une période d'au moins deux ans au cours des cinq années précédentes; les candidats et candidates doivent aussi rédiger un essai sur un aspect quelconque du thème général «De la ferme canadienne à la table étrangère». Le gagnant ou la gagnante dans chaque province assistera à un salon important de l'industrie de la vente d'aliments. L'un des ces délégués sera ensuite choisi pour assister à une grande foire internationale consacrée aux aliments et aux boissons.
