The Geomatics Professional Development Program, International (GPDPI) provides non-Canadian geomatics professionals with the opportunity to develop their skills in a world-class geomatics organization. The Earth Sciences Sector (ESS) of Natural Resources Canada works with Canadian industry and conducts research in the following areas; remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), the Global Positioning System (GPS), maps and charts, surveying, and geological sciences. Geomatics professionals are an integral part of each of these efforts. As a participant in the GPDPI, you will work alongside leaders in the geomatics field to complete a six-month project, tailored to suit your needs and learning goals. The GPDPI offers structured training in the field of geomatics through a curriculum designed to develop technical and managerial skills. Le Programme international de perfectionnement professionnel en géomatique (PIPPG) offre à des professionnels étrangers du domaine de la géomatique la possibilité de développer leurs aptitudes dans une organisation géomatique reconnue mondialement. Le Secteur des sciences de la Terre (SST) de Ressources naturelles Canada travaille avec l'industrie canadienne et fait des recherches dans les domaines suivants : télédétection, systèmes d'information géographique (SIG), système de positionnement global (GPS), cartographie, arpentage et sciences géologiques. Des professionnels de la géomatique sont à la base de chacune de ces activités. En tant que participant au PPPGI, vous travaillerez avec des chefs de file du domaine de la géomatique pour mener à bien un projet de six mois adapté à vos besoins et à vos objectifs d'apprentissage. Le PPPGI offre une formation bien structurée par l'intermédiaire d'un programme d'études conçu pour développer des aptitudes techniques et de gestion.
