International Institute of Telecommunications (IIT) is a non-profit organization that provides services for development of the telecommunication industry. The organization offers industrial training including public and online courses, internships, and seminars; research and development services; and validation of new applications and services. It serves national and international corporations, government agencies, and universities. The organization has strategic partnerships with Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA) and FGT Consultants in Management, Education and Technology Inc. L'Institut international des télécommunications a été fondé en 1999, par un groupe de leaders de l'industrie des télécommunications et du monde universitaire, avec le soutien du Gouvernement du Québec. C'est un centre industriel des télécommunications. Ses activités sont principalement orientées vers la formation industrielle, la gestion des outils collectifs de la R&D et les services technologiques. L'IIT conçoit et diffuse des solutions d'apprentissage; il offre conjointement avec les établissements d'enseignement membres, un programme académique de premier cycle spécialisé en télécommunications et révisé selon les besoins de l'industrie. Son laboratoire est constitué d'équipements à la fine pointe de la technologie provenant de fournisseurs de renommée mondiale.
