Industry Canada. This group promotes a global environment for e-commerce that facilitates economic growth, maximizes the social potential, and reflects and supports the needs of all Canadians. Working through multilateral trade organizations, such as the World Trade Organization, Free Trade Agreement of the Americas and the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation, the group promotes harmonized policy frameworks and regulations to foster global e-commerce and remove impediments to trade.
