The Inuit History Travelling Exhibit was launched on May 3. Its main purpose is to tell the stories of Inuit communities and share those stories with all Canadians, especially in the north. The Inuit have a unique culture that spans thousands of years and has geographical distances, from northern Manitoba to Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and outside of Canada in Greenland.

Lancée le 3 mai dernier, l'Exposition itinérante sur l'histoire inuite vise principalement à raconter l'histoire des collectivités inuites et à les faire connaître à l'ensemble des Canadiens et plus particulièrement aux habitants du Nord. Les Inuits possèdent une culture unique qui couvre des milliers d'années et un vaste territoire qui comprend la région allant du nord du Manitoba au Nunavut, les Territoires du Nord-Ouest, et à l'extérieur du Canada, le Groenland.
