Terme proposé sur le modèle de l'expression "photochimie de l'ionosphère", relevée dans le Grand dictionnaire encyclopédique Larousse , à l'article "ionosphère".

OBS

Nous préférons "chimie des ions" à "chim ie ionique" parce que l'adjectif "ionique" ne signifie pas uniquement "relatif à des ions" mais aussi "dû à des ions" et que ce deuxième sens ne convient pas ici. Il y a donc un léger danger de confusion de sens.
