L'effet crêpe. Il consiste, sur métier à 2 fontures, à interrompre pendant un certain nombre de rangées le tricotage sur l'une tandis que l'autre travaille normalement. Pour ce faire, les commandes mécaniques de la fonture "hors travail" sont modifiées, permettant de la laisser soit en position basse ou haute, le temps nécessaire à la création de l'effet. On obtient par cette méthode la création d'effet relief (...) dénommé bourrelet ou jonc.
