Cette soudure peut se réaliser de deux manières : "Chair sur chair : ("fin seal") (...) "Cuir sur chair" : ("lap seal") ou scellage chevauchant. Une bande de film est soudée par recouvrement de la couche interne d'une extrémité sur la couche externe de l'autre extrémité.
