On September 6, 2002, Latin American Parliamentarians successfully founded the Latin American Parliamentarians Against Corruption (LAPAC). Latin American Parliamentarians have agreed to fight corruption in all its forms, keeping this battle away from personnel attacks and political vengence, and making it in integral part of their role in ensuring the accountability and transparency of the governance process.
