More and more, public service leaders find themselves with direct reports scattered across geographical boundaries who must still work collaboratively to achieve shared business objectives. Despite the lack of face-to-face contact, leaders of a geographically dispersed workforce must create context and build unity in order to support the organization's vision and strategic priorities. Participants will gain an understanding of the special communication challenges involved in building engagement and trust within a dispersed workforce and acquire the tools they need to lead effectively in this context.

De plus en plus, les dirigeants de la fonction publique sont confrontés à une main-d'œuvre formée de subalternes directs dispersés géographiquement qui doivent cependant collaborer pour atteindre les mêmes objectifs opérationnels. En dépit du peu de contact personnel, les dirigeants d'une main-d'œuvre dispersée géographiquement doivent créer le cadre favorable au développement d'un sentiment d'unité afin d'appuyer la vision de l'organisation et ses priorités stratégiques. Les participants comprendront mieux les défis particuliers de communication intervenant dans le renforcement de la mobilisation et de la confiance au sein d'une main-d'œuvre dispersée. Ils acquerront de plus les outils nécessaires pour diriger avec efficacité dans ce contexte.
