The Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat (LNS) was established in November 2004. The Secretariat's goal is to help boost student achievement. Le Secrétariat de la littératie et de la numératie [...] a été créé en novembre 2004. Il vise à stimuler le rendement des élèves. Literacy Nova Scotia (LNS) is a not-for-profit organization supporting the literacy community in Nova Scotia. Our mission is to make sure every Nova Scotian has equal access to quality literacy education. LNS was formed in 1992. We provide a provincial forum for organizations and people to work together to make sure every adult has learning opportunities. We support a strong movement of people interested in adult education.
