The vertical distance between the crane bearing level and the load-handling device located at its lowest working position: for hooks and forks, up to their lowest point (when closed).

OBS

For overhead type cranes, the load-lowering height is to be measured up to the rail level. The load lowering height is to be determined without any load, the crane being erected on a level site.
