What are Low-Speed Vehicles? ... vehicles that: -Are designed for use primarily on streets and roads where access and the use of other classes of vehicles are controlled by law or agreement; -Travel on four wheels; -Are powered by an electric power train and travel up to 40 km/h on a paved level surface; -Do not use fuel as an on-board source of energy; and -Have a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 1 361 kg.
