In order to characterize fully a round surface of a journal bearing two types of deviations must be described: 1 the macroerror, which specifies the deviation between an ideal reference circle and is called out-of-roundness (OOR) error. Il convient (...) de mettre l'accent sur la différence entre erreurs de forme superficielles. On désigne en général les premières sous le terme macrogéométrique, les autres sous le terme microgéométriques.
