Throughout Canada in each and every year the 15th day of June, being the day in the year 1215 when the Magna Carta was signed by King John, is a Holiday and shall be kept and observed as such under the name of "Magna Carta Day", not as a day of rest but rather as a day to be commemorated, especially in our schools, with special memorial services and celebrations.
