Service de la Garde côtière qui suppose la participation des utilisateurs, qui fournissent des observations météorologiques relativement à divers emplacements le long de la côte. Ces renseignements sont ensuite rediffusés par la GCC [Garde côtière canadienne] au profit de tous les utilisateurs. Le service fait présentement l'objet d'un projet-pilote à Comox (Colombie-Britannique) dans le cadre du projet d'automatisation des phares; s'il est efficace, il sera étendu à d'autres endroits au pays.
