Enfin, un dispositif d'analyse discriminatoire de marques (sur lecteur optique Kaiser OMR 80/40/30/21) (...) est destiné à améliorer la lecture optique de marques dans les applications du type "examens à choix multiples" où le marquage n'est pas homogène et où les gommages sont nombreux. Analysant chaque marque sous les trois aspects, intensité, dimension et profil, il diminue considérablement les rejets dus aux confusions entre marques faibles et mauvais gommages et supprime les doubles passages en sensibilité de lectures différentes.
