MECHANICAL DITHER [1 record]

Record 1 2001-09-17

English

Subject field(s)
  • Lasers and Masers
  • General Mechanics (Physics)
  • Navigation Instruments
  • Flight Instruments and Equipment (Aeroindustry)
CONT

The advantage of the multioscillator laser gyro is that changes in bias magnitude do not directly affect the gyro output... a change in the frequency separation between oppositely polarized pairs will not directly affect output. Therefore, dithering is not required and there is no periodic passing through the lock-in region.

OBS

dither. To periodically tilt from side to side.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Masers et lasers
  • Mécanique générale (Physique)
  • Instruments de navigation
  • Instruments et équipement de bord (Constructions aéronautiques)
CONT
