MEMBRANE FILTER BIOREACTOR [1 record]

Record 1 1999-09-22

English

Subject field(s)
  • Biological Sciences
CONT

Enzyme membrane reactors ... combine enzyme recycling with the advantages of homogeneous enzyme catalysis.... Substrate is pumped into a loop reactor that contains the dissolved enzyme. The product solution that accumulates behind the membrane is free from enzyme and ready for work-up.... The economic operation of an EMR plant requires that the sterile reactor be operated for months in order to utilize the enzyme activity to the greatest possible extent.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Sciences biologiques
CONT
