The Mi'kmaq-Nova Scotia-Canada Tripartite Forum, formed in 1997, as a partnership between the Nova Scotia Mi'kmaq, the Province of Nova Scotia and the Government of Canada to strengthen relationships and to resolve issues of mutual concern. The Tripartite Forum has an Education Committee that comprises the Mi'kmaw Kina'matnewey (MK) education organization (which represents 10 First Nation communities, Nova Scotia's three other First Nation communities, the Nova Scotia Ministry of Education and Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

Le Forum tripartite Mi'kmaq-Nouvelle-Écosse-Canada, créé en 1997 entre les Mi'kmaq de la Nouvelle-Écosse, la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse et le gouvernement du Canada. Il a pour but de renforcer les relations et de résoudre les problèmes d'intérêt commun. Le Forum comprend un comité de l'éducation composé de représentants de l'organisme d'éducation Mi'kmaw Kina'matnewey (MK), qui représente dix communautés des Premières nations, de trois autres Premières nations de la Nouvelle-Écosse, du ministère de l'Éducation de la Nouvelle-Écosse et d'AINC (Affaires indiennes et du Nord Canada).
