The mod trigger is used to fire the radar transmitter and, for unstaggered operation, occurs approximately 12 microseconds after the stc trigger.

Le modulateur a pour rôle d'assurer le déclenchement périodique de l'émetteur à la cadence de répétition et pendant un temps déterminé. Situé entre le synchronisateur et l'émetteur, il produit des impulsions qui, appliquées au tube émetteur, en provoquent le fonctionnement.
