Transport Canada has established the MOST program to support projects that produce the kinds of education, awareness and analytical tools we need if we are to make sustainable transportation a reality. This program will provide funding to help support projects that will: provide Canadians with practical information and tools to better understand sustainable transportation issues; encourage the creation of innovative ways to promote sustainable transportation; and achieve quantifiable environmental and sustainable-development benefits.

Transports Canada a mis sur pied le programme SRTD dans le but d'appuyer les projets qui renfermeront les outils d'éducation, de sensibilisation et d'analyse dont nous avons besoin pour que le transport durable devienne réalité. Ce programme prévoit le financement des projets qui permettront : de fournir aux Canadiens des renseignements et des outils pour qu'ils soient mieux à même de comprendre les questions de transport durable; de créer des façons novatrices de promouvoir le transport durable; de produire des résultats quantifiables sur le double plan de l'environnement et du développement durable.
