CONT

Many of the municipal parks in the United States - of about 10 or 20 acres (4 to 8 hectares) - are multipurpose and provide for a wide range of varied recreational activities.

Cependant, le terme spécifique «parc urbain» ne doit pas être confondu avec le terme générique «parc urbain» désignant tout endroit situé dans les limites ou en périphérie immédiate de la ville, tels les parcs de quartiers, de voisinage, etc.
