On June 29, 2007, indigenous communities across Canada protested against the policies and lack of fulfillment of laws and treaties by the Government of Canada and in so doing will build public opinion among the Canadian populous. This was clearly a historic non-violent action and important in furthering the dignity, livelihoods and human rights of all First Nations in Canada.

Le 29 juin 2007, les communautés autochtones de l'ensemble du Canada ont protesté contre les politiques gouvernementales et la transgression des lois et des traités par le gouvernement du Canada, afin se sensibiliser la population canadienne à leur situation. Il s'agissait clairement d'une initiative pacifique historique destinée à rehausser la dignité de toutes les Premières Nations du Canada et à faire valoir leurs modes de subsistance et leurs droits de la personne.
