The National Information Program on Antibiotics (NIPA) was created in 1996 by Pfizer Canada Inc. to help educate Canadians about the appropriate use of antibiotics. NIPA's objectives are to help Canadians understand the difference between viral and bacterial infections, and the importance of using antibiotics only for the treatment of bacterial infections.

Le Programme national d'information sur les antibiotiques (PNIA) a été créé en 1996 par Pfizer Canada Inc. en vue de sensibiliser les Canadiens au bon usage des antibiotiques. Le PNIA a pour objectifs d'aider les Canadiens à comprendre la différence existant entre les infections virales et les infections bactériennes, de même que l'importance d'employer les antibiotiques uniquement pour traiter les infections bactériennes.
