neurodiversidad: La Fundación del Español Urgente (Fundéu BBVA), con el asesoramiento de la Real Academia Española, indica que la palabra "neurodiversidad" se emplea para subrayar que el funcionamiento humano es diferente entre unas personas y otras porque sus cerebros funcionan también de manera distinta, sin que necesariamente haya que reducir la diversidad a los trastornos o alteraciones del desarrollo. Se usa especialmente en el contexto de los trastornos del espectro del autismo. Se trata de un neologismo formado por el elemento compositivo "neuro-", que procede del griego y significa "nervio" o "sistema nervioso", unido al sustantivo "diversidad" sin espacio ni guion intermedios. Al tratarse de un nombre común, se escribe en minúscula. Al igual que el término del que deriva, el adjetivo "neurodiverso" se escribe en una sola palabra. 2, record 1, Spanish, - neurodiversidad
